Divorce Recovery Workshop
A six part video based Divorce Recovery Workshop featuring Dr. Bill Flanagan, a minister to Single Adults and professor at Fuller Theological Seminary, will be offered on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm here at Nampa First Church. Join us downstairs in the Family Life Center building in room Y16/17. The workshop utilizes Jim Smoke's classic book, "Growing Through Divorce", and is designed to meet the needs of those separated or divorced. NFC typically offers this series during the winter and you may enter at any time!

You don't have to go through it alone! Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they have ever faced. It's a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you've never faced before.
DivorceCare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Here at Nampa First Church, DivorceCare support group meets on Wednesday nights from 7:00 - 8:15 pm in the Family Life Center, Y16/17 (downstairs in the basement). We typically offer this series in the Fall.
Each DivorceCare session has two distinct elements: 1) A Seminar with Experts - During the first 30-40 minutes of the meeting, each DivorceCare group watches a video seminar featuring top experts on divorce and recovery subjects. These videos are produced in an interesting-to-watch television magazine format featuring expert interviews, real-life case studies and on-location video. 2) A Support Group With Focus - After viewing the video, DivorceCare group participants spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week's video seminar and what is going on in the lives of group members.© MMVII Church Initiative.
