Norma Hamilton, Receptionist

Norma started attending NFC in 1945 as a teenager and was married in the church in 1951.  Her son, Randy and daughter, Roma were born here in Nampa and dedicated at NFC.  In 1960, the family moved to Napa, California where her husband was part owner in a cabinet shop and Norma was a stay at home mom.  During that time, their children grew up there and their son Randy married.  In 1976, the family returned to Nampa and began attending NFC again.

After 42 years of marriage, Norma’s husband passed away, and Norma began working as Receptionist at NFC in July of 1994.  She helped start the Church Library and has also headed up  the Prayer Chain.  Norma has two fantastic granddaughters, Jennie and Krissy and 2 great-grandchildren, Jenna & Cole.   Besides working in the Church office, she loves to garden, knit and read, but most of all love spending time with my family. We think it’s safe to say Norma is a staple of the NFC office, and she is very much loved and appreciated for her years of service and hard work!
